I’ve found a terrific site where you can study photography online. It’s called New Portrait Biz. Scott and Lisa Voelker designed and built this study of photography from years of experience running their own successful photography studio. They know first hand, the frustrations and challenges that those just starting out are faced with. How do I get started in wedding photography?

I am a photography student at a Community College and I want to start shooting weddings. I can not seem to find anyone willing to give me a shot. I'm not great at photography, but I'm pretty good, and the more I check out local wedding photographer websites more sure I will. I would be willing to start off really cheap, but I need that first break. Does anyone have ideas about breaking into the wedding photography business? I am located in Knoxville Tennessee area.
